PRIVACY

Privacy Policy

Effective date:

This policy covers the Right Round Here website and the Right Round Here regional directories that link to it. "We" and "our" refer to Right Round Here, operated by Outdoor Adventures Technologies, LLC. Features may differ between regional directories.

You can browse without an account. We process connection details, searches and, if you choose, your device’s location to provide the directories.

Searches and location

We use the city, state or ZIP code you enter and your chosen search radius to show nearby businesses. When needed to locate the place you entered, our server sends the search text to Microsoft Azure Maps. See the Microsoft Privacy Statement.

If you choose “Use my location” and allow access in your browser, your browser sends us location coordinates, which can be precise. We use them to find nearby businesses and position the map. You can use a typed location instead and manage location permission in your browser settings.

Search text, radius and location coordinates used for a search can appear in the page address. They may remain in browser history or appear in hosting and service logs. Sharing a search-page link can therefore share the location used for that search.

Remembered searches

Regional directories use browser local storage to remember your last typed location and search radius. Stored separately for each regional site, this preference has no automatic expiration and remains until replaced or cleared by you or your browser. It does not save device coordinates from “Use my location.”

Clear the relevant site’s browser data to remove remembered searches. This does not remove browser history or records already processed by servers or other services.

Maps and technical information

Our servers and service providers process connection information needed to deliver the sites, such as IP addresses, browser information and requested page addresses. Hosting and service logs may contain this information.

Maps load images from OpenStreetMap Foundation services. Those services and their delivery providers receive your IP address and request details identifying the map area displayed. See the OpenStreetMap Foundation Privacy Policy.

To avoid repeating location lookups, we temporarily cache successful text-search queries and their location results for up to 30 days. Unsuccessful lookups are cached for up to 15 minutes. These cache periods do not determine how long information remains in your browser, hosting logs or third-party service records.

Google services when enabled

Where enabled on regional directories, Google Analytics measures visits, search and location-button use, radius changes, and clicks on business websites or telephone links. Our custom interaction events omit search text and device coordinates, and page addresses we explicitly send to Analytics omit search query strings. Google may process technical information and use cookies or similar identifiers when Analytics is enabled.

Google AdSense is used only on pages where advertising is enabled. On those pages, Google and other advertising vendors may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses and other identifiers to deliver and measure ads. Advertising cookies can enable Google and its partners to show personalized ads based on visits to this and other websites. Non-personalized ads may still use information for functions such as measurement and fraud prevention.

Read how Google uses information from sites using its services and Google’s Privacy Policy. You can manage Google’s personalized advertising through Google Ad Settings. These settings do not stop every kind of information processing by Google or other providers.

Business listings and outside links

Our directories publish business information obtained from public sources, including business names, addresses, map locations, telephone numbers, websites, descriptions and services. Some details may also identify a business owner or other individual. Use our contact form to request a correction or raise a privacy concern about a listing.

Business website and telephone links connect you with the listed business. Information you provide directly to that business is handled under its own practices.

Contact form

If you use our contact form, we receive your email address, any name you choose to provide, the type of request and your message. We use that information to review and respond to your request. The directory application does not keep a separate database copy, but the configured email-delivery service and recipient inbox process the message and may retain it under their operational, legal and security practices.

We also use limited technical information and automated checks to protect the form from spam and abuse. Submissions are rate limited. These application limits run separately in each site process, reset when a process restarts and are not a promise of a network-wide quota.

Your choices and privacy requests

You can search without granting device-location permission, clear remembered searches and manage cookies or other site storage through your browser. Some choices may affect how features work. Right Round Here does not use the legacy browser “Do Not Track” setting to change its own data handling. Third-party services may respond separately; this legacy setting is distinct from Global Privacy Control and other legally recognized opt-out signals.

Depending on where you live and which laws apply to us, you may have rights to access or obtain a copy of personal information, correct or delete it, and opt out of certain uses, including targeted advertising or the sale or sharing of personal information. Use our contact form to make a privacy request. We will handle requests as required by applicable law, including any available appeal rights.

Changes and contact

We will post changes to this policy here and update its effective date. Where applicable law requires additional notice, we will provide it.

For privacy questions, requests or listing corrections, use our contact form.
